This last week, it’s been repeated several times in various ways that all that is present is also impermanent. To live means to die, to have day means to have night. In the words of my mentor, “to have it is to not have it.” There is power in this understanding.
As we move into this half of the spring eclipses, with the moon sitting at 25 degrees of Scorpio, we are reminded of this need to let go. The Sun and moon square Pluto, adding to this deep need to purge, to release, to allow for the decay and the subsequent transformation that Pluto always makes way for.
There is an element of illusion at play with Neptune trining the South Node and Moon. What may feel necessary to hold on to may be the exact thing we must be ready to let go of. Mars will sit close to Neptune here, and while it is a strong place for him to be, we must be wary of any desires that might carry us away, past what is most practical for us at this time.
What are you grounding into with these wild shifts? Utilize the structure of Saturn in order to find balance as we move through these unexpected twists and turns, and loosen our grip on that which we thought we needed.
Ground into deep infusion of a practice or teaching, with your own soul, with connection to Spirit. Come be with yourself in this time of massive release. Allow yourself to take charge, to follow a path of empowering projection.
In closing, I’d like to share a couple of quotes from the IChing. An excerpt from hexagram 8, Pi, or, ‘Holding Together’, also known as ‘Union.’
Water fills up all the empty spaces on the earth and clings fast to it… Water flows to unite with water, because all parts of it are subject to the same laws. So too should human society hold together through a community of interests that allows each individual to feel himself a member of a whole.
Fundamental sincerity is the only proper basis for forming relationships.
With this reflection of water seeking water, we see it connected, and held together, by earth. And just the same, this eclipse day allows us to connect to something, allows it to lead us as we proceed forward, recently emptied out and made new. An exorcism, a baptism making way for what is to come.
I wish you peace as you move through this potent storm. Blessed eclipsing.
